In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

Volunteer Application                       volunteer logo

We welcome volunteers at Cypress Elementary.  All our volunteers must first compete a volunteer application on-line, with our District office (must be over 18 and not a Pasco County Student).  Once you have completed your application, please email and ask that your application be processed.  As Volunteer Orientation, we ask that volunteers review the DSBPC Volunteer Program Guidelines and Cypress Volunteer Handbook.  We may ask for a completed Volunteer Partnership Agreement prior to volunteering.

We are currently devloping guidelines for our Volunteer Program to allow for COVID-19  safety measures.

Cypress Volunteer Handbook

Cypress Elementary is proud of our Volunteer Program, as well as all our volunteers. Our volunteer base consists of parents, grandparents and community members who dedicate themselves to becoming a positive role model for our students, parents and staff.  Cypress has consistently had one of the largest Volunteer Programs in Pasco County Schools.  Thank you for making Cypress such a great school!
Cypress has many volunteer opportunities to offer.  We can place volunteers willing to make weekly commitments, daily pledges, as well as those only able to give a few hours here and there.
PEER Volunteers are students who are in middle or high school, and are accepted into our Cypress Volunteer Program on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the school Volunteer Coordinator to begin the process.
